Our client is an engineering and technical services company specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects. The company is committed to delivering engineering projects in line with approved specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, contractual obligations, and project timelines.

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager (MEP) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of MEP works on construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, contractors, and construction teams to ensure effective project execution.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, site activities, and installation plans to ensure timely completion.
• Manage project budgets and monitor expenditure to ensure costs remain within approved limits.
• Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Monitor compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
• Manage subcontractor performance, site coordination, and resource allocation.
• Prepare and present project progress reports, schedules, and status updates to management and clients.
• Manage project variations, change orders, and claims in coordination with commercial and contract teams.
• Coordinate the testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems at project completion.
• Ensure proper project documentation and compliance with the established project governance framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in MEP project management and construction execution.
• Proven experience managing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection works on construction projects.
• Experience managing medium- to large-scale MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality control standards, and site coordination.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and site teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
