WHAT WE NEED

If you're an experienced Commercial Electrician who likes working independently, solving problems in the field, and taking pride in quality work, Transworld Electric may be a good fit.

Were growing our commercial electrical team in the Charleston area and looking for electricians with solid field experience who can step in, contribute right away, and continue growing with the company.

An electrical license is welcome but not required.

Pay is $30$40 per hour based on experience and responsibility. We offer a standard 40-hour MondayFriday schedule with overtime opportunities based on project needs, steady commercial work, and opportunities to grow into lead and working-foreman roles.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install, connect, test, and inspect commercial electrical systems and equipment
• Perform electrical work on new construction, renovations, upgrades, and service projects
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues using appropriate testing equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and project drawings
• Work with panels, transformers, conduit, feeders, terminations, lighting, and power distribution systems
• Ensure work meets NEC requirements, project specifications, and company quality standards
• Communicate effectively with project managers, field leadership, team members, and customers
• Mentor apprentices and help support a productive, professional jobsite

WHAT YOU BRING

Required

• Minimum 5 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Experience working with 120/208V and 277/480V electrical systems
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field team

Preferred Experience

• Journeyman-level experience or an electrical license is a plus but not required
• Experience with panels, transformers, switchgear, conduit, feeders, and motor controls
• Leadership, lead electrician, or foreman experience
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Experience mentoring apprentices or less-experienced electricians
