Job Description
The Card Issuing Portfolio Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing card issuing products and technology solutions across the card value chain. The role drives card product innovation and modernization initiatives while collaborating with Technology, Operations, Fraud, Collections, Customer Experience, Marketing, and other key stakeholders. The incumbent ensures successful project delivery, optimizes product performance, and provides strategic insights to support business objectives and growth.
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Banking, Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Technical Certifications
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).
- Visa/Mastercard Card and Payments industry certifications.
- Business Analysis certification.
- Product Management certification.
Experience Required
5-7 years
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on card issuing and card products.
- Demonstrated experience in card product development and product management.
- Experience leading card modernization, digital transformation, or payment-related projects.
- Strong understanding of card operations, technology platforms, fraud management, and customer servicing environments.
- Proven ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders including Technology, Operations, Marketing, Fraud, Collections, and executive leadership teams
