We are an established specialty Polish and Eastern European market and deli in Rockville, Maryland, seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with store and deli operations, managing inventory and product displays, supporting ordering, receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining store standards, and opening or closing as needed. The Assistant Manager will also help supervise staff and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications include previous supervisory experience in a grocery store, deli, specialty market, or similar food retail environment. Candidates should have strong communication skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Experience with Polish or Eastern European foods and products is a strong plus, but not required.

This is a full-time position with competitive salary based on experience. We are looking for a dependable individual who works well with customers and staff and wants to become part of our team.

Salary/Compensation: $800 - $900 per month
