As our next Technical Project Manager IoT, you'll take over responsibility after the pre-sales phase and lead customer projects from start to finish. You'll be the key contact for our clients, translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring successful implementation on site. With our advanced technologies - real-time localization, automation software, and autonomous fleet management - you'll help shape the future of production and logistics.
For this position we require an office presence of 2-3 days per week in Munich.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive and coordinate diverse industrial IoT projects from concept to on-site implementation
- Take ownership of IIoT initiatives by designing, presenting, and executing innovative solutions that optimize and automate production and logistics processes
- Plan and manage the installation of our UWB (Ultra-Wideband) hardware at customer sites to enable real-time transparency and traceability of assets and workflows in manufacturing environments
- Set up and configure our Kinexon OS software platform to automate production processes, integrate IoT data, and support customers in their digital transformation journey
- Deploy and integrate our AGV & AMR Fleet Manager as the central interface between customer order management systems and autonomous vehicles, ensuring seamless fleet coordination and operational efficiency
- Apply agile methodologies to lead cross-functional project teams and ensure fast, iterative delivery of solutions
- Establish clear and effective communication channels with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and supply chain teams on customer-specific project requirements
- Facilitate customer meetings and working groups, identify action items, and proactively resolve blockers to keep projects on track
- Continuously improve project workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and scalability
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and ensure solutions meet customer expectations
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable field
- You bring a solid foundation in IT and are eager to deepen your technical understanding
- You're curious by nature and enjoy figuring out how things work - self-learning is part of your mindset
- You have hands-on experience managing technology or software development projects, ideally in the context of SaaS or industrial automation
- You're familiar with project and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence, and know how to use them to drive progress
- You're passionate about shaping the digital transformation of manufacturing and logistics environments
- You thrive in dynamic settings, can juggle multiple tasks, and know how to set the right priorities
- You communicate clearly and confidently in German and English - whether with customers, developers, or internal stakeholders
- You think analytically, solve problems proactively, and work well in cross-functional teams
- You're open to traveling within Germany and internationally to support customers and ensure successful project delivery
