Description
Job DescriptionSesame Workshop is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Project Manager Licensing - Europe to join our Consumer Products team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of licensing, marketing, and retail activation, supporting initiatives that bring our brands to life across multiple European markets.
You will help connect Consumer Products with Marketing and PR, contributing to trade marketing activities, brand collaborations, and retail-focused initiatives. With a strong focus on coordination and execution, you will support consistent brand presentation, effective cross-team collaboration, and the timely rollout of projects and campaigns across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects connecting Consumer Products, Marketing, and PR, with a strong focus on trade marketing, retail activation, and bringing brand initiatives to life at point of sale (POS)
- Support and help execute retail activation initiatives, including the planning and rollout of POS marketing activities in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Support and further develop strategic partnerships and collaborations by contributing new, year-round ideas, creating incentives for brand and product development, and supporting execution together with licensees and partners - including collaboration with our puppeteers where relevant
- Act as a central point of contact within the licensing team for cross-functional and communication-driven initiatives
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing Europe and PR representatives across GSA, the UK, and the Netherlands
- Develop and strengthen marketing-led initiatives for the Publishing and Audio licensing categories, working closely with licensees to drive 360° activations across channels such as Instagram, LinkedIn, digital platforms, and B2B touchpoints, with a focus on GSA, UK, Spain and NL
- Support the day-to-day collaboration with Marketing on selected brand and campaign initiatives
- Organize and support licensing trade shows and industry events
- Support internal processes, presentations, reporting, and coordination within the Consumer Products team
Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or university degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or a related field
- 2-5 years of professional experience in a marketing, retail, licensing, or agency environment
- Strong interest in brands, lifestyle products, and retail trends
- Confident user of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel; experience with CMS is an advantage
- Highly organized, communicative, and hands-on, with the ability to manage multiple topics in parallel
- A true team player with enthusiasm for creative ideas and structured execution
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
